Perceived Weaknesses

So self-compassion and self-love go hand in hand and are synonymous really. In order to truly remember who we really are, we have to first love who we are, where we’re at right now. I love thinking about Christ and His ministry upon the earth. He met everyone where they were at and got down on their level, loving them in spite of their imperfections and weaknesses. We need to learn to love ourselves in that same way. It’s amazing the strengths and gifts that come out when we can truly love ourselves, all of ourselves, the light side and the shadow side. It is in that space where we can uncover who we are. Because our strengths and our weaknesses make us who we are. The Savior is the only perfect person. It is my belief that we were given our weaknesses so that through them we could find our greatest strengths.
