Forgetting Your Worth

About 5 months ago, I was lead to ponder on what the core weakness was below every other limiting belief we might have and this is what the spirit told me: “Forgetting your worth”.

I think part of forgetting your worth is also forgetting who we really are. That we are each sons and daughters of Elohim, meaning that we came from both our Heavenly Father and our Heavenly Mother, we have Divine Parents, so we have divinity within us.

When you think of movies and how they portray Gods or Goddesses or demi-gods, they always seem to show all of the gifts and abilities they have. They always have some kind of super power. And these superheroes and Demi-gods are just fictional made up stories BUT we really are gods and goddesses in embryo, we are blessed with our own kind of “super powers” in the form of our gifts, talents, and abilities. We need to not be afraid to use those, to develop those, to find out what they are.

Lately I keep hearing in my mind how we are living below our privileges. It’s something that I have been pondering on a lot. I invite you to ponder the scriptures below and thoughts and seek guidance from the Spirit to know what you can do to live up to your privileges.

“If you live up to your privileges, the angels cannot be restrained from being your associates.”
― Joseph Smith

I came across these scriptures as footnotes to the prophet Joseph Smith talking about angels being our associates.

Psalms 24:3-4 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

D&C 38:8 But the day soon cometh that ye shall see me, and know that I am; for the veil of darkness shall soon be rent, and he that is not purified shall not abide the day.

And Moroni 7:48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen.

I mean you’re very best.
You are capable of so much more.”
