I have been diagnosed with auto-immune disease and potential auto- immune diseases that are not flaring up right now along with other health issues and so losing weight has been hard for me. I have been wanting to be more intentional in my eating and I’ve tried so many diets, dietbets, contests, taken so many supplements, and spent so much money towards losing weight that usually only help me lose 10-15 lbs just to gain it right back and then some. 🤦🏻♀️ I have found that I need to be taking a more well rounded approach that includes getting healthy in all aspects. (emotionally, spiritually, physically, mentally, energetically) If one of those is out of alignment, then it affects the other areas…anyway…
I have been learning more about mindfully & intuitively eating and I’d like to share my takeaways and also share some books and programs that I have found to be helpful…I’ve heard of people healing from their health issues by intuitively eating, so I want to try it out and I’d like some support along the way.
Soooooo I am starting my own group where anyone interested in learning more about “mindful intuitive eating” can join for FREE. I will be sharing an overview of what it means to eat this way in the group.

Side Note We are all human and it’s human nature to eat when we get together to socialize (with family, friends, etc), to express love because maybe someone made us a meal or treat or gave us a gift, to have fun when we’re at a fair or a theme park etc, to soothe a hurt, when we’re feeling nostalgic or missing someone we love and certain foods remind us of those memories or loved ones, or to reward ourselves.
It’s like a natural instinct to use food to manage our emotions. And that starts so young, like I mentioned in the intro video about a baby or a young kid and using food to soothe them when they’re upset.
Emotional eating becomes a problem when it’s the ONLY way we cope with our emotions or we are using it to avoid our feelings.
And because we’re all human, we need to extend self-compassion to ourselves when we are in that place of using food to cope or numb out. As we learn to handle our emotions in a healthier way, we will do better.
Who is interested in talking about more healthier ways to deal with our emotions like fear, dread, anger, shame, etc?
